• MacTusk is an aggressive Mob that spawns at Walrus Camps during Winter. He is the leaderof Mactusk N' Son and will always be found traveling with his son, Wee MacTusk, and two Blue Hounds. They respawn every 2.5 days after being killed. When killed, he drops 1 Meat, 1 Blow Dart, 1 Walrus Tusk with a 50% chance and 1 Tam o' Shanter with a 25% chance. MacTusk is only active during the day.

Wortox the games new character DLC is coming to Don’t Starve Together for Linux, Mac and Windows. Thanks to a recent post from Klei Entertainment. Coming to Steam this week, March 28th.

The Wortox news came a little bit later than Klei expected. Since this is the first new character DLC. Coming to Don’t Starve Together, live on Steam, March 28th.

Wortox the Soul Starved will be available soon. Making his way into the Constant. Also joining the stellar band of Survivors.
Since this character is fun but playful. He also has a big, kind heart. Despite that he eats souls for nutrition.

Here are the new character details for Wortox:

(Some details may change before launch but this is what we are expecting.)

• catches the Souls of creatures that die around him.
• Souls can be used for the following abilities:
  • Can eat delicious souls (then loses some sanity).
  • Also Wortox teleports a short distance.
  • Release Souls to heal nearby allies.
• Unfortunately for the new character. His body craves Souls. Food is only ½ as sustaining.
• He can be overloaded with Souls. This causes him to drop them and lose sanity.
• Due note, he is less afraid of monsters.

Wortox can be unlocked in the following ways:

• Wortox is available for purchase for $6.99 USD. Which will be in the Wortox Chest. His Survivor skin set is included in this chest for free.
• The Wortox Deluxe Chest is $10.99 USD. This also includes the Survivor. As well as Minotaur and Uncorrupted skin sets.
• You can weave the new character for 2700 spool.

Klei will have a new Wortox animated short. And also more details on March 28th.
